The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behaviour effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur during class. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends and practices.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting is essential. A background in early childhood education or childcare is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide children effectively through their learning journey. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and staff. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transporting materials or attending off-site activities.
