Job Purpose:



This role will involve a mixture of home and office-based working -both processing and overseeing in partnership with the team management, prescriptions received into the business and accurate uploading into Health Connect and the transposing of data. The role is predominately site based however there is some flexibility for home working You will work as part of an enthusiastic and highly motivated team in this essential role to deliver an organised, efficient, and accurate homecare pharmacy service which exceeds customer expectation by your dedication to patient care. Support with day-to-day management tasks and reports Support with the training and development of staff You will work to process and oversee that prescriptions are accurately processed in accordance with company SOPs and quality objectives from receipt into the business to complete You will adhere to all relevant SOPs, policies and procedures and raise any non-conformances in line with company policy.

Key Accountabilities

Working alongside and assisting the management team with overseeing all processes in the department Working alongside the Team Management to maintain appropriate individual productivity targets, including accurate data entry and raising any queries with prescriptions. Assist as required with the implementation of new contracts and projects. To help the site management ensure the security of the personnel, premises and stock at all times, following established procedures and protocols. Responsible to assist the team to ensure the correct input of dispensing information and raising queries as appropriate with the pharmacy team

Operating Standards



Liaise with other team members within the site to ensure smooth workflow and accurate processing of all prescriptions. Ensure that all prescriptions are processed in a timely manner meeting or exceeding KPI's Ensure that confidentiality and data protection, following the GDPR regulations, is always maintained.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:




Essential

High levels of accuracy Experience of working towards KPIs and targets Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent computer literacy Organisational & planning skills Proven and solid work performance record Willingness to undertake further training as needed NVQ Level 2/3 in Pharmacy Services, or equivalent

Desirable

Experience of working within a variety of pharmacy settings Understanding of Homecare Pharmacy
