We are a friendly, high achieving, 6 Partner GP Training Practice looking to recruit a part-time Prescriptions Clerk.

The post holder will be employed by Hayling and Emsworth Primary Care Network but the location and day to day management for the role will be Emsworth Medical Practice.

Our Prescriptions Clerks provide support to GPs and other members of the clinical team to provide a responsive prescription service for our circa 16,000 patients.

Duties will include co-ordinating and preparing repeat prescriptions for our patients as well as co-ordination of medication reviews and changes and data entry onto patient records. You will also liaise with patients, colleagues, the pharmacy team and external pharmacies.

You will need to have previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician or Dispensing Assistant with a Pharmacy / Dispenser qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) as well as good skills in Microsoft Office. We are looking for team players who are reliable and conscientious. Ideally you will have had previous experience as a Prescriptions Clerk in a primary care setting.

Working 28 hours over 4 days 9.00am to 4.30pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
