Job Description


Aspinal of London are looking for a Press Assistant to join our team in London. This role will gain a valuable insight to the world of fashion PR working closely with the Senior PR and Brand Communications Manager, as well as the wider marketing and brand teams. This role is based five days a week from our Press Office above our Flagship store in Regent Street St James\'.

Role Overview:

  • Support the Senior PR & Brand Communications Manager with the day-to-day running of the in-house press office and delivering the communications strategy.
  • Ownership of the brands sample management ensuring there is visibility and tracking of all samples both internally and externally alongside managing all press sample send outs and returns.
  • End to end management of all external sample send outs to ensure sample request deadlines are met.
  • Competently book couriers and liaise with multidrop services to ensure press samples send outs are ready for collection to meet call in deadlines.
  • Updating all databases, contact sheets for all press, VIP\'s and influencers ensuring all information is up to date.
  • Media monitoring and press coverage clipping. Existing knowledge of the Launchmetrics platform is a bonus.
  • Creation of the weekly and monthly press coverage report inclusive of digital, print, VIP and influencer coverage.
  • Management of Press Office inbox, fulfilling image and sample requests to meet call in deadlines.
  • Management and execution of all product gifting for press, VIP\'s, charity donations etc, ensuring all orders are placed, giftwrapped, tracked, accounted for.
  • Assisting manager with appointments with press, VIPs, talent and influencers where appropriate.
  • Assisting and working Press Days and other ah-hoc brand events.
  • Liaise with graphics team to ensure cut out libraries are up to date ahead of each collection launch.
  • Responsible for a neat and tidy press office in Regent Street,
Skill Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level in a related field desirable
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker who can contribute to content and brand marketing projects
  • Excellent and persuasive communicator
  • Ability to articulate key messages clearly and confidently
  • Confident to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Ability to work with initiative and independence with set guidelines
  • Motivated with a \xe2\x80\x98can-do\' attitude to problems
  • Excellent attention to detail, highly organised
  • Team player but can work alone and independently
