Job Summary

We are a leading provider of infrastructure products for the telecommunications sector. Our company specializes in the design and supply of enclosures, cooling systems, and ancillary products that play a critical role in the infrastructure rollout of blue-chip companies and their contractors.

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator / Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and precision measurement to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This position offers opportunities for growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment that values technical expertise and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Lead / Assist in the assembly of companies range of relocatable equipment buildings(Cabins etc) Operate Safan Darley Servo Electronic press brake safely and efficiently. Set tooling, select programs, and adjust bend sequences. Read engineering drawings and job cards correctly. Perform test bends and fine?tune angles and tolerances. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality. Work with various materials and thicknesses. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area. Report defects or machine issues immediately. Coordinate with fabrication, laser, and assembly teams. Follow all health & safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

Experience with press brakes. Understanding of bend allowances, materials, and tolerances. Confident with CNC controls and adjustments. Able to read engineering drawings. Mechanical awareness and problem solving skills. FLT licence is beneficial. Reliable, practical, and detail focused. Calm under pressure. Team player with ownership of tasks. Proactive and improvement minded.

Reliable and self-motivated. Strong communicator with production and admin teams. Able to manage priorities and remain calm under pressure. Positive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Experience:

press brake setting up and operation: 2 years (required)
This role requires a dedicated individual with attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work safely within a team. Candidates with relevant experience in fabrication or mechanical roles will find this position an excellent fit for their skills development.
