Press Brake Operator
to join our experienced finishing team.
About the Role:
You will operate press brake machinery to produce precision-formed parts to exact specifications. After completing initial training on day shift, you will transition to a 2-shift rotation. Working within a team of around ten people, you will be expected to manage your own workload and tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating and setting press brake machines to produce precision sheet metal components
Selecting and setting up tooling for each job
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings in both first and third angle projection
Carrying out in-process inspection to ensure work meets required tolerances and quality standards
Working through a variety of jobs independently, prioritising tasks effectively
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 6 months' press brake setting experience
Confident in the running and basic setting of press brake machines
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (essential)
Capable of working unsupervised while contributing effectively within a team environment
* Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality
