Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to produce precise sheet metal components. The ideal applicant will be committed to quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Adjust machine parameters to ensure accurate and consistent production. Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring they meet specified tolerances and standards. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to minimise downtime. Use hand tools and tooling to assist with fabrication, assembly, or finishing tasks as required. Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Training will be given in all aspects.

Experience

Proven experience operating press brake machinery within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes including grinding, welding, and assembly is advantageous. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Prior exposure to welding or grinding is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided where necessary. Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
