Brake Press / Plasma Operator



Position Summary


We are seeking an experienced and reliable Press Operator to join our fabrication team. The primary responsibility will be operating a press brake to bend and form metal components to specification. The ideal candidate will have solid experience setting up and running press machinery with precision and consistency. While the main focus is press work, the role will also include occasional operation of the CNC plasma cutting table as support when required.

This is a hands-on role working with a close-knit team of fabricators, welders, and engineers. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and pride in producing quality work are essential.

Key Responsibilities



Operate press brake machinery to accurately form metal components Set up and adjust machines based on job specs Read and interpret engineering drawings Ensure accuracy, quality, and safety at all times Support plasma cutting table operation when needed Work collaboratively with welders and fabricators in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience -- Applicants must be able to demonstrate:



3-5 years+ experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or fabrication setting Ability to read and work from technical drawings Basic experience or willingness to support CNC plasma cutting operations Keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to safety and quality Strong communication and teamwork skills No formal education required--reliability, skill, and a good attitude are key

Hours:



Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Overtime:



Available immediately Monday to Friday evenings and Saturdays
