Press Brake Setter/operator Night Shift

Job Description

Fab-Tech (Telford) is a successful, growing sub-contract Sheet Metal / Fabrication company based in Telford.

Duties/Responsibilities:



Be able to set and operate Amada press brakes to manufacture components from sheet metal.

Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.

Measures and aligns materials to be used.

Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.

Maintains a clean work area.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:



Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls.

Ability to follow instructions.

Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.

Basic computer and math skills.

Education and Experience:

At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.

Physical Requirements:



Physically able to operate the press brake.

Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.

Hours - Night Shift


Monday - Wednesday 4:30pm-3am
Thursday 4:30pm-2am
31 days paid holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas shutdown.

Pay can be discussed depending on experience.



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 17.10 per hour
