We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake machinery according to specifications and technical drawings Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bending angles and dimensions Inspect finished components for quality, ensuring they meet specified tolerances Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards Assist with other fabrication tasks such as grinding, welding, or assembly as required

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar fabrication role Knowledge of sheet metal properties and fabrication techniques Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, and basic machine maintenance Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during setup and production processes Experience with grinding, welding, or assembly is desirable but not essential Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: 12.21-17.01 per hour
