Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and creative Price work Based Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills.

To carry out high-quality painting and decorating tasks on industrial and commercial sites, including warehouses, in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and agreed price work rates.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces (e.g. walls, ceilings, steelwork, cladding) by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as required. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers. Work on a variety of surfaces including masonry, metal, timber, and plasterboard. Install protective coverings and masking to safeguard non-painted areas. Ensure all work meets client specifications and quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to site rules and health & safety protocols. Accurately record completed work for price work tracking and invoicing. Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.

Requirements

CSCS card ant CITB registered Proven experience in construction painting or a related field Valid driver's licence and vehicle Proficiency in English, both spoken and written Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: 140.00-250.00 per day

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
