Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is working with a leading intelligence organisation providing pricing information across Agricultural and Soft commodity products. The successful candidate will join the pricing department as a Pricing Analyst.
Responsibilities:

• Have a key focus on finding pricing data on commodities within softs and food not traded on an open exchange i.e. plant based proteins
• Continue to gather new price data and perform analysis to demonstrate fair prices on specific products
• Network and speak to industry professionals to collect as much relevant pricing information as possible
• Collate findings in the form of spreadsheets and data sheets to be able to present to the necessary personnel
• Must hold relevant pricing knowledge by staying up to date with trends and industry news

Experience:

• Must have over 1 years' experience within a commodity company within a pricing discipline
• Knowledge of pricing physical commodity products across Soft commodities and Agriculture, non-negotiable
• Confident in speaking on the phone and going to market to retrieve data
• Expert in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Requires an understanding of Incoterms
• Background in trade support desirable
