At Charles Kendall Freight we are a highly experienced freight forwarder, at the heart of our Group's end-to-end supply chain management service. Genuinely global, we have locations across the UK and Europe, as well as a dedicated USA operation, and a strong Far East presence in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam. As a member of the Pricing Team you will play an important role in the Company, preparing and managing freight quotations for both new and existing clients, negotiating rates with carriers, suppliers and overseas agents and identifying cost effective transport solutions to meet customer requirements.

A team player, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers and support the sales team with pricing and market insight.

Previous pricing experience is desirable, ideally for Freight Forwarding or a similar logistics role, but additional training will be provided.

You will have strong negotiation & communication skills as well as excellent attention to detail and time management.

With the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, you will have a good working knowledge of Cargowise, MS Word and Excel; excellent communication skills and be a team player.

Reporting to the Pricing Manager, the role is Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm.

Pay: 28,000.00 per year
