Pricing Support Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Pricing Support Manager you are critical to shaping and implementing TPE's pricing strategy in a fast-moving and competitive travel market.



The successful candidate will design and implement initiatives to simplify rail fares and ticketing. This is a great opportunity to shape the future of rail in the North of England to improve customer experience and increase rail's market share. The role will support in maintaining TPE's fares database and play a crucial role in implementing annual fares changes and promotional fares.



Reporting to the Pricing Manager, you will also work closely with colleagues in the Marketing and Retail teams to meet individual and team targets.

ABOUT YOU

You'll be an organised, approachable, and reliable professional. You will be highly analytical with great attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to convey key information to colleagues across the company.



Your IT skills are strong covering as a minimum Word and Excel, and ideally some experience of database management or business intelligence tools. You will also be quick to learn bespoke rail industry systems. You'll have a good understanding of the rail and transport industries, ideally covering TPE geography and operations.
