We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care Team at HMP Garth
HMP Garth has a capacity of around 800 males and is a category B Prison located in Lancashire.
As the Primary Care Clinical Lead, you will manage a team of 18 within the Primary Care team to include, nurses and support workers. 80% of the role will be clinical role 20% will be managerial role.
You will mainly be based in the Healthcare Department however wing work will also be required as and when.

• Monday - Friday (Potential weekend work as and when required in the future)
• 37.5 hours per week
• 8am - 4pm

Salary
This position is permanent and you will receive an annual salary up to 49,848 - 55,996 per annum depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams.
• Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.
• Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high quality clinical service for patients. Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
• Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence.
• Clinical Lead you will coach, line manage and develop clinician staff; support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance and contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.
• Chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners, provide clinical supervision (training available) and carry our investigations locally and for the wider region.

• Registered Nurse - Adult ? Current professional qualification (NMC)
