Job Overview

A friendly and supportive primary school in Warwickshire is looking for a qualified

HLTA

(ideally someone with QTS who is happy to do HLTA/TA cover work) to join their team from September. This is a

4-day-per-week role (not including Tuesdays)

.

The position involves providing

PPA cover across all year groups

. The school approaches PPA slightly differently - instead of half a day every week, teachers receive a full day every two weeks. To support this, the school employs two HLTAs to cover classes during PPA time, meaning you will be assigned a class for a full day on a set timetable.

The successful candidate will also receive their own

PPA time (one day every two weeks)

to plan lessons. Alongside the other HLTA, you'll take responsibility for delivering one subject area, but these will be straightforward and well supported. Typical examples might include

arithmetic, guided reading or reading comprehension

.
