Sport and Health Academy is seeking a dynamic and visionary Sports Development Manager to lead our mission from the front. This is more than a job--it's a chance to build, innovate, and directly impact the health and happiness of the next generation.

Your Mission:

You will be the driving force behind our participation strategy, empowering a dedicated team to deliver exceptional PE and sports programs. You'll blend strategic leadership with hands-on coaching, ensuring our initiatives are both impactful and exciting for every child we reach.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Inspire:

Manage and mentor our coaching and development team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Strategize & Grow:

Develop and execute our participation strategy, refining current programs and pioneering new offerings that engage primary schools.

Build & Sustain:

Spearhead new business development, turning warm leads into lasting partnerships and securing vital income streams.

Collaborate & Create:

Work directly with the CEO to design exciting half-term holiday programs and contribute to strategic decisions.

Coach & Connect:

Stay connected to our core mission by personally delivering dynamic sports sessions and coaching children.

What We Offer:

A Rewarding Career:

Permanent role starting February 1st, 2025, with a competitive salary of

28,000 - 32,000 per annum

, plus performance bonuses and expenses.

Healthy Balance:

37.5-hour week (Monday-Friday core hours, with flexibility--some evening/weekend work may be required). Enjoy 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Is available to start from February 1st, 2025. Has at least 3 years of hands-on experience delivering sports within primary schools. Demonstrates proven experience in managing or leading a team. Is a passionate advocate for PE, with the energy and vision to motivate others. Shares our unwavering commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
