Job Title: Primary School Sport Coach (Part time)

As a Primary School Sport Coach, you will ignite a passion for physical activity and healthy competition among young learners! Your role is pivotal in fostering an engaging and supportive environment where students can explore various sports and develop essential skills. You'll lead exciting activities that promote teamwork, discipline, and personal growth, all while ensuring the safety and well-being of every child. This would be for wrap around care breakfast and afterschool clubs)

What you'll do

Plan and deliver dynamic sports coaching sessions across a variety of ages and capabilities. Teach physical education classes that inspire students to embrace an active lifestyle while developing their motor skills. Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. Organize and oversee school sports events and competitions that encourage friendly rivalry and sportsmanship. Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' overall development in both physical education and personal growth. Provide childcare during sessions to ensure a safe environment for all children involved in sports activities. Maintain records of student progress and participation in various sports programs.

Basic qualifications

Experience working with students in a coaching or teaching capacity. Strong background in sports coaching or physical education teaching. A minimum level 2 in sport coaching required.

Preferred qualifications

Proficiency in a variety of sports. Familiarity with health club or gym environments to enhance fitness training sessions. Ability to engage children through creative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
