Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and guiding participants through various sporting activities, fostering teamwork, discipline, and skill development. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the physical and personal growth of individuals across different age groups in Primary Schools. The position is paid and suitable for those with a genuine interest in sports coaching and teaching. It is a brilliant chance to develop a career in education.

We are looking to recruit a self employed sports coach, to join our team.

Part time hours of 12-4:30pm daily, with progression to full time hours between 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging sports sessions tailored to participants' age and skill levels, with all lesson plans and training provided. Teach fundamental techniques and rules of various sports, ensuring safety at all times Engage positively with staff and students. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations during all activities

Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential Training will be provided for suitable candidates Strong knowledge of various sports disciplines and coaching techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of diverse backgrounds Organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Passionate about working with children and supporting them Enhanced DBS desirable but not essential, we can support you in gaining your enhanced DBS.

Ability to drive and access your own vehicle. Full UK driving license Availability across a minimum of 3 days, preferably 5 days. Experience working with children in education or coaching setting.

Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
