The role of a Supply Teacher is to take the place of the regular Class Teacher when they are absent. This could be for a variety of reasons including, sickness, attending training/CPD courses or Leadership Time.
99% of the time there will be plans and detailed notes from the class teacher explaining which lessons you need to teach. You are expected to follow these plans, deliver the lessons and mark what you have taught that day.
Other responsibilities may include; Collecting the class from the playground in the morning, Playtime duty and Dismissing Children to Parents at the end of the day.

You Must Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
Strong classroom management.
