Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Educate students in core subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and social studies while integrating creative activities. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student development and address any concerns. Manage classroom behaviour through positive reinforcement strategies and clear expectations. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create an inclusive school environment that promotes teamwork and shared goals. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Experience

A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is advantageous. Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and the ability to apply them effectively in the classroom. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students of various ages and backgrounds. A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds to help them reach their full potential.
