The Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teachers to deliver engaging tuition sessions to small groups of students for Years 3 to 6, as well as those preparing for the 11+ entrance exams. The successful candidates will inspire and motivate young learners, ensuring they build confidence and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver interactive, high-quality tuition sessions for small groups of students in Years 3-6 and 11+ preparation.
Teach core subjects including Maths, English, and Reasoning (Verbal, Non-Verbal, and Numerical).
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs and abilities.
Collaborate with the Extra Learning UK team to ensure alignment with our curriculum and goals.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching primary school students (Years 3-6) and/or 11+ preparation.
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and 11+ exam requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues.
Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
Ability to manage small groups and differentiate instruction effectively.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable Skills:
Possible experience in delivering tuition in a group setting.
Familiarity with 11+ exam boards (e.g., GL, CEM).
Creative teaching approaches to make learning fun and impactful.
