About the Role

A vibrant and inclusive

primary school in Brighton

is looking to appoint a dedicated

Teaching Assistant

to support pupils across

Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

.

This full-time,

term-time only

role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children learn, grow and reach their potential in a positive and nurturing classroom environment.

You'll be working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support and help ensure every child feels confident and valued in their learning.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils in lessons, group work and individual learning activities Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation Encourage pupils to engage positively with learning and school life Support children with

additional learning needs

or

SEN

where required Promote good behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment Liaise with teachers, parents and the SENCo to support pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children in a

school or childcare setting

Hold a

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Childcare qualification

(preferred but not essential) Be

patient, enthusiastic and proactive

in supporting learning Show strong

communication and teamwork skills

Be passionate about

education and child development

Be reliable, organised and committed to term-time working
