Unqualified Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant- Primary School, Brighton

Are you passionate about working in education?

Are you interested insupporting SEN children , mainly those with Autism, Speech and Language needs and Learning Difficulties?

Are you confident, energetic with a positive attitude?

If so, then look no further than our Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant position.

To thrive as an SEN Teaching Assistant, it's essential that you have:

A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN Working experience or personal experience with children with SEN e.g. Autism/ADHD Have a natural enthusiasm for working with young children The ability to monitor and record a child's progress An understanding of safeguarding children A positive, caring, energetic, can-do attitude

Duties include (but aren't limited to):

Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and stay engaged in their learning Build strong, trusting relationships with students to boost their confidence, communication, and participation Assisting the class teacher Fostering relationships with parents Caring and looking after children during break times and lunch times Supervising children during activities Managing challenging behaviour Motivating children and being an excellent role model
