About the role



With the resignation date just around the corner, have you considered the flexibility of supply teaching?

Heart of Supply is looking for adaptable and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools in Lincoln, Newark, and throughout Lincolnshire from January 2026.

Whether you're ready for a change of pace, exploring new school environments, or looking to regain work-life balance, supply teaching could be the perfect next step. You'll be providing engaging lessons and continuity for pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, depending on your specialist area, and making a real difference wherever you go.

We'll work closely with you to find opportunities that match where you're most confident teaching, in schools that suit your style, and around your availability and goals, from part-time to full-time, and from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements.

What you will need:



QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience teaching in a UK primary school, ideally within EYFS, KS1, or KS2 A nurturing, adaptable teaching style with the ability to engage and support pupils across different year groups and school settings Confidence in the classroom and strong behaviour management skills based on encouragement, consistency, and positive reinforcement The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to lessons Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and school staff A minimum of 6 weeks' UK teaching experience (including placements)
