Primary Teacher (Art Specialism) - Maternity Cover
Salary: 160 - 260 per day
Location: Southall, West London
Start Date: January 2026
We are seeking a passionate Primary Teacher with an Art specialism to join a diverse and inclusive primary school community in Southall on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire pupils across the primary age range, bringing creativity into the classroom and enriching the wider curriculum.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Incorporate art into teaching to enhance creativity and cross?curricular learning
- Support pupils of all abilities, including SEND and EAL learners
- Apply positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a purposeful classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure holistic pupil support
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Proven UK teaching experience
- Strong classroom practice and behaviour management skills
- Enthusiasm for creative teaching and learning
- Supportive leadership and collaborative staff team
