Beyond Education is an Ofsted regulated tutoring company in Urmston, Manchester. We tutor children aged 4-18 in English, maths, science and also for school entrance exams. Children are tutored face-to-face in our centre.

We are looking for someone to join our team who;

Has a passion for teaching the primary curriculum for maths and English Is available to work at least Fridays 4-8pm Opportunity for Wednesday evening work 4-8pm also should you wish Possible daytime hours also available for the right candidate The position is suitable for any qualified primary school teachers including trainee teachers, NQTs, RQTs.
Expected/non negotiable;

Subject to enhanced DBS check Able to work independently using initiative as well as working as part of a team English and maths GCSEs grade B or above A levels or equivalent Qualified teacher status Subject to references Available to work Friday evenings 4-8pm
Desired/preferred;

DBS check on update service Flexible Experience of teaching phonics (reception and year 1) Experience of teaching across the primary key stages Experience teaching towards Trafford grammar school exams
Successful candidates will;

Teach primary school students on a 1:1 or small group basis Support staff with less experience (training, guiding, mentoring) Plan effectively for their sessions, including those in small groups Ensure resources are organised and ready to teach before sessions Liaise with colleagues and parents regarding students progress Plan for a teaching assistant to support small group sessions
