Primary Supply Teachers

for both

full-time

and

part-time

temporary positions in schools across Newcastle. Whether you're looking for long-term placements or short-term assignments, we have flexible opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.

As a

Primary Supply Teacher

with Humly, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring that students continue to progress in their learning, even in the absence of their regular teacher. You will step into different primary school settings and make a real impact on the educational experience of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver planned lessons and ensure that students are engaged and learning effectively Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment that promotes inclusivity Support the progress and development of all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) Implement school policies and follow safeguarding protocols Provide feedback to teachers and school leadership on student progress and classroom activities Adapt to different school settings, working with varying age groups and abilities

About You:



We are looking for individuals who are passionate about primary education and are committed to making a positive impact in the classroom. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching in a primary school setting Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to quickly integrate into new environments A positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude towards teaching and student development A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
