Step into a lively primary classroom where your calm support and creative ideas make learning click for every pupil. From phonics flashcards to messy science experiments, you'll be the extra pair of hands--and the steady heart--that keeps the day running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Boost learning:

Work 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce key skills and build confidence.

Stay one step ahead:

Set up resources, organise displays and keep the classroom learning-ready.

Champion behaviour:

Model positive routines, spot problems early and restore calm when things get noisy.

Track progress:

Observe, note and share each child's "light-bulb" moments with the teacher.

Keep it inclusive:

Make sure every pupil feels safe, heard and ready to have a go.

What you'll bring

Experience with children--in a school setting. Clear, friendly communication and genuine enthusiasm for young learners. Patience and resilience; you stay upbeat even when paint pots tip over. Level 2/3 TA qualification (or similar) is a plus but not essential. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service . First Aid
