About the role

Source Supply are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school located in Thornaby on a full-time basis, starting in January.

Working in key stage two, the ideal candidate will be an experienced Teaching Assistant who can hit the ground running in a busy, forward thinking school.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:

Have experience working with children in a primary school setting

Be patient, adaptable, and positive in their approach

Support learning both in and out of the classroom

Work effectively as part of a caring, collaborative team

Requirements

- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting

- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach

- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.

- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.

- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.

- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
