Primary Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join the team at an oversubscribed Wigan Primary school. This incredible opportunity offers long term full-time employment, working five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with daily pay rates between \xc2\xa377-85 depending on experience.

This large 2 form entry Primary school is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to team their early years team. The school has a support SLT and regular CPD available to all staff.

As a Teaching Assistant working in early years, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and education of young minds in the early years of their academic journey. Your commitment and enthusiasm will help create a nurturing and stimulating environment, fostering a love for learning among the students.

Essential requirements:

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:

• Hold a L2 or above Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
• Phonics experience
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
