Reporting to the Head of Finance your main responsibilities will be the co-ordination and production of the Council's revenue and capital budgets as well as monitoring in year financial performance. You will play a key role in leading our treasury management activities and reporting, as well as lead a team of highly skilled professionals.
You will ideally be professionally qualified, but we are also open to candidates with substantial experience gained in a Local Authority accountancy team.
You will possess an ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information for non-financial users and have excellent interpersonal skills.
