Role Description:
As ADI expands into new product and market segments, the Precision Convertor Group is looking for a highly skilled Analog I.C. Design Engineer.
The UK design office based in Newbury has an opening for a principal I.C. Design to support the Precision Converter group. As a principal Analog IC Design Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities including, but not limited to:Transistor-level circuit design and simulation Architect, implement and analyze trade-offs of analog blocks CMOS and bipolar amplifier design RF system design and verification Understanding of device-level operation and physics System and block level circuit simulation and modelling Evaluate and troubleshoot complex integrated circuit problems in the laboratory Interface with test, product and applications engineering to successfully bring new products from initial concept through production release Coordinate and support analog layout

You will play an integral part in the development of our products.
Requirements:(BEng/MEng/PhD) with 15+ years experience in analog design Strong background in device physics and semiconductor processing Familiar with analog and digital design, simulation and modelling Motivated, results oriented and creative problem solver with good writing, presentation and overall communication skills Ability to collaborate in a team environment Knowledge of general lab equipment Any programming knowledge, Verilog, MATLAB and Labview experience is also relevant to the position Must be self-directed, detail-oriented and thorough The candidate should be highly motivated, keen to learn from peers and able to demonstrate strong initiative.
