Lura Care is a private domiciliary dental service, providing dental care to those residing within care home & assisted residential living accommodation.

With the latest advancements in technology & equipment we are able to provide mobile dentistry to those who need it most.Our company ethos is to make oral health care accessible for all.

Lura Care is the leading domiciliary health care provider in the whole of Spain & has been treating patients in Northern Italy since 2022.

We proudly cover London, Kent & surrounding areas and will soon be covering Northern UK counties.

As a clinical supervisor/ principal dentist for Lura Care, not only will you be visiting care homes and carrying out general dentistry you will also play a vital role within the company to ensure our standards of patient care and safety are upheld.

When you are not treating patients you will lead our team of dentists and offer guidance and intervention with clinical queries. This ranges from techniques with relation to treatment, treatment planning, and ultimate decisions on treatment when complex medical histories are concerned.

With the close support of the registered manager you will be responsible for training and onboarding of new dentists and encouraging them to foster the Lura Care ethos to achieve our ultimate goal, to make dentistry accessible to all.

You will support internal advancements in our service by recommending new processes, changes within our technology and so much more.

Key responsibilities;



1. Clinical Supervision & Support



Oversee and support the clinical work of dentists, associates, or other team members Provide direct supervision during patient treatments, ensuring procedures meet professional standards. Offer constructive feedback, guidance, and mentoring to improve clinical skills. Providing hands-on guidance in treatment planning, clinical techniques, and patient management.

2. Regulatory Compliance



Ensure full compliance with

Care Quality Commission (CQC)

standards for safety, effectiveness, and patient care. Uphold

General Dental Council (GDC)

standards of conduct, performance, and ethics. Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure data protection protocols are followed.

3. Quality Assurance & Clinical Governance



Implement and monitor policies for infection control, patient safety, and clinical effectiveness. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident reporting to support continual improvement. Lead practice inspections and readiness for external assessments (e.g., CQC visits). Monitor clinical standards, identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

4. Patient Care and Communication



Ensure high standards of patient care, including safeguarding, informed consent, and complaints handling. Engage with patients and next of kin to explain treatment options clearly and respectfully. Manage complex or escalated patient cases and clinical decision-making.

5. Practice Development



Contribute to business development, marketing, and service improvements. Carry out associate recruitment & onboarding Help to develop systems to optimise work flow Help to develop dentists clinical skillset to align with adaptive care
Essential Skills:

Strong clinical knowledge and experience in all areas of dentistry. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify and solve problems effectively. Strong organisational and time management skills. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Promote adherence to all relevant regulatory and professional standards, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the General Dental Council (GDC).

Pay: 70,000.00 per year
