As Team Leader, you'll lead a dedicated team of officers and support staff, overseeing the full delivery of the DFG process from initial enquiry to completed adaptations. You'll manage complex cases, provide technical advice, and work closely with partners including Occupational Therapy, Adult Social Care, and contractors.
You'll also play a key role in mentoring junior staff, driving service improvements, and helping shape the future of the service in response to Local Government Reform.
What We're Looking For
Proven leadership and team management experience
Strong understanding of home adaptations and grant delivery
Ability to motivate staff and manage performance effectively
Confident in providing technical advice to colleagues and stakeholders
Experience in housing standards, occupational therapy, social care, or local government is highly desirable
Comfortable representing the service at local and national levels
We're also exploring a Trusted Assessor model, a hybrid role combining grants and occupational therapy, so flexibility and innovation are key.
Why Join Us?
You'll be part of a forward-thinking team committed to making a real difference in people's lives. We offer a supportive environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to lead meaningful change in housing services.
