As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Consenting & Environment team with a

Principal EIA Consultant - Planning and EIA

at our Newcastle (Horsley), Aberystwyth, Glasgow, Stirling, Castle Douglas, or Inverness office.


Our Team is led by the Director of Onshore Consenting and Environment, and supported by a number of Technical Directors, Associate Technical Directors, Principals, Seniors, Consultants and Assistant Consultants. This hierarchy provides both top down, and bottom up support as well as a clear path for personal growth within Natural Power.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Town Planner - To provide planning and consenting advice on projects where required; and/or EIA Practitioner - To provide Project Management services for large scale renewable energy projects; To provide EIA coordination services for large scale renewable energy projects; To provide Project Direction on renewable energy projects; To ensure governance and quality assurance of projects; To write and review proposals for projects; To contribute to the business development and growth of the business; and To staff manage a number of senior consultants / consultants within the team; and provide mentoring and upskilling of our Team (including your own training and development), as part of growing and developing the Team.

General Responsibilities

Planning and Consenting Advice Project Management and Delivery EIA Coordination Project Direction Health, Safety, Governance and Quality Assurance (QA) Business Development Managing and Mentoring Staff Training

This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
