In September 2025 we began working with Trinity Multi Academy Trust with a view to joining their family of academies. Trinity is a growing and respected trust currently comprising of 11 academies, spanning primary to post-16 education and they have a strong and proud track record of helping schools to make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of young people.

It's an exciting time to be part of St Thomas' as we enter this new chapter.

We are now seeking an inspirational leader to guide our school on this journey. As Principal, you will:

Strategically lead the direction and development of the academy in accordance with the ethos and vision Have overall responsibility for raising standards of pupil attainment and achievement across the academy Ensure that all strategic planning and leadership takes account of the diversity, values, local communities and partnerships. Have responsibility for the financial and physical resources within the academy. Work as part of the MAT executive team in the strategic development of the trust.
You must be passionate about improving children's life chances through the provision of the highest quality of education, and committed to achieving excellent results for the pupils. You must have a strong work ethic, high expectations of yourself and others, and have the ability to lead and inspire staff and pupils in realising those expectations.
