The Opportunity

We're hiring a visionary

Principal Generative AI Engineer

to lead the development of a custom, domain-specific Large Language Model (LLM). This high-impact role is central to our AI strategy. You'll build and train an LLM to provide expert-level answers and decision support with unparalleled accuracy.

This role demands deep AI expertise and seamless integration with our

existing PHP Laravel application

Key Responsibilities

LLM Development & Specialization:

Design and implement state-of-the-art LLMs with an NLP focus. Fine-tune models (GPT, BERT, Llama) for domain-specific capabilities.

Data-Centric AI:

Lead data strategy, curation, and preprocessing for LLM training. Implement robust data pipelines to optimize model performance.

Production AI Systems:

Architect and maintain scalable, high-performance AI systems for LLM deployment. Ensure reliability and security through testing and monitoring.

Enterprise Integration:

Design robust

API integrations

connecting LLMs with our

PHP Laravel application

. Ensure secure, asynchronous data exchange.

AI Agent Evolution:

Drive LLM evolution into intelligent AI agents, automating workflows and decision-making. Explore advanced techniques (tool use, function calling, RLHF).

Technical Leadership:

Provide guidance, mentorship, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative AI solutions.

Continuous Innovation:

Stay current with Generative AI, LLM, and AI agent advancements.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Master's in CS, ML, AI, or related (Ph.D. preferred).

Experience:

8+ years in AI/ML development, with

4+ years in Generative AI, LLMs, or AI agent development

.

Proven Track Record:

Successfully designed and deployed complex AI/ML solutions in production, especially domain-specific LLMs.

Technical Expertise:

Exceptional

Python

proficiency; experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face. Extensive experience with

LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG

. Strong

NLP

background. Proficiency in robust

API integrations

(AI models to web apps). Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and

MLOps/DevOps

(version control, containerization, CI/CD). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

PHP Laravel Integration:

Significant hands-on experience with

PHP and Laravel

for API integration.

Skills:

Superior analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in

conveyancing

or regulated industries. Multi-modal data integration. Familiarity with LangChain, Pinecone, ChromaDB. Ability to lead and mentor. Contributions to open-source AI, publications, or patents.
