Principal Heat Exchanger Engineer Psc
Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Heat Exchanger Engineer (contract) to be based in our Reading office on a large FEED for a Middle Eastern Gas Project. The role will be on a temporary (agency) basis.
Undertaking heat exchanger designs using HTRI software
Preparation of mechanical data sheets for heat exchangers
Preparation of material requisitions
Review and evaluation of equipment suppliers' bids
Provision of support and advice on heat exchanger matters
Experience in the use of HTRI software for the design of shell and tube and air - cooled heat exchangers
Extensive experience, primarily in a contracting environment, working with heat exchangers on FEED and EPC projects for the oil and gas, refinery and petrochemical industries
Flexible attitude, with good written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with TEMA and relevant API and ASME codes and standards
Computer literate within Microsoft Office
