The Role:
In the role of Principal Major Projects Officer, you will be expected to improve the delivery of development projects and work across traditional boundaries within the planning profession and involve the areas of development management, planning policy design and implementation
As a Principal Major Projects Officer, you will deliver major planning applications and development projects of strategic importance across the City
The Principal Major Projects Officer will deal with all types of major planning applications (and associated detailed applications) from submission through negotiation and determination, to implementation and delivery
For the role of Major Projects Officer, you will be expected to take the lead with developers to secure the best possible quality of developments for the City
As a Projects Officer you will also implement strategies to assist developers in submitting an application in the most appropriate form leading to a reduction in delays in determining applications. This will involve giving a corporate, consistent and comprehensive feedback quickly and effectively
