Job Title: Principal Mechanical Engineer
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days WFH)
Salary: 70k to 75k per annum
Are you a driven and experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a respected building services consultancy based in central London, is looking for a talented individual to join their growing team - with the flexibility to work from home three days a week.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, collaborative consultancy that punches above its weight on high-profile residential and hotel projects across London and beyond. With a strong pipeline of work and ambitious growth plans, they're looking for someone who is technically strong, people-focused, and eager to keep learning.
What you'll be doing:

• Leading the mechanical design on projects, from concept to delivery.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a positive team culture.
• Liaising directly with clients, architects, and project teams.

What they're looking for:

• Strong experience in building services mechanical design (preferably within the UK).
• Exposure to residential and/or hospitality projects.
• Strong CP1 Guide knowledge (essential).
• A proactive communicator who enjoys working with clients and colleagues alike.
• Someone who is always looking to improve - technically and professionally.
• CEng or working toward chartership is a plus.
