Petrofac is seeking a Process Engineer 2- Contractor for 6 months based in Aberdeen, UK.
The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.
The scope of services will be reviewed should there be a significant change to client support requirements.
Scope of Services:
xc2xb7 Provide engineering input to estimates for project work scopes
xc2xb7 Provide input to progress and planning meetings
xc2xb7 Participate in various engineering review meetings such as HAZOP, LOPA, HAZID, etc
xc2xb7 Provide technical expertise to specify modifications to existing equipment or purchasing new equipment including:
o Pump systems
o Compressor packages
o Separation systems
o Chemical Injection skids
o ESD system modifications
o Metering packages
o Relief systems
xc2xb7 Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process
xc2xb7 Produce calculations required for the role and participate in design reviews
xc2xb7 Production of discipline documentation deliverables for inclusion in work packs
xc2xb7 Provide a level of technical support that satisfies the appropriate Asset Safety Case and the PFEER performance standards ensuring they are not compromised by any discipline engineering activities
xc2xb7 Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards
xc2xb7 Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures in line with industry standards
xc2xb7 Checking and Approval of Engineering Deliverables

Provide technical expertise to contribute to the production of discipline specific engineering deliverables including:
xc2xb7 P&IDs & PFD
xc2xb7 Process Line Lists
xc2xb7 Technical Notes
xc2xb7 Calculations
xc2xb7 Datasheets
xc2xb7 Technical Reporting
xc2xb7 Input to PEPs
xc2xb7 Cause and Effects Diagrams
