Our Professional Services team partners with our Higher Education clients to ensure positive outcomes and mutual growth. We assist Higher Education clients in managing their SITS products and services, helping them to fully leverage the platform's capabilities.



Our SITS:

Vision product is a comprehensive Student Information System designed for higher education institutions. It helps manage various aspects of the student journey, from recruitment and admissions to student support, retention, and outcomes.



Tribal's success is driven by the achievements of our customers, and our new Higher Education Full Service Customer partnership allows us to enhance and redefine these relationships. The HE Principal Consultant (Team Lead) plays a key role in this success, leading a team of experienced and dedicated consultants.



In this pivotal position, the Principal Consultant (Team Lead) remains attuned to both internal developments and external industry trends, ensuring that team priorities are well-defined, effectively managed, and closely aligned with the broader company and HE Services objectives.



The role is remote with the need to travel as required.



The Role



Provide the day-to-day line management of a small team of Professional Services consultants within the relevant sector.

As a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will coach and mentor team members to build competence, navigate change, assess capability, and identify development needs.

Conduct quarterly performance reviews, setting clear priorities aligned with the HE Services strategy and high-level objectives, addressing role progression, development needs and performance concerns.

Define and manage strategic priorities for the HE Consultancy team, ensuring alignment with the company-wide objectives and HE full-service model.

Communicate product changes and updates to the delivery team, incorporating them into delivery plans to support competence development.

Oversee planning for projects in your team's area of software responsibility, supporting project initiation and strategy workshops as needed.

Collaborate with the Solutions Delivery Team on strategic customer engagements (e.g. SITS Readiness Assessments).

Establish formal touchpoints with key internal stakeholders - including Product Teams, the Solution Delivery Team, Senior Customer Advisory Consultants, and other Principal Consultants - to provide feedback and inform continuous improvements in service delivery.

Ensure all service delivery collateral is regularly updated and maintained in line with evolving product and solution developments and promote efficient reuse and repurposing to support team development.

Actively identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and facilitate cross-functional knowledge sharing to drive enhanced outcomes.



The skills you'll need:



The ability to lead a team of successful consultants in achieving excellent customer support.

Tangible experience on implementing software solutions.

Working knowledge of SITS.

Significant experience of the relevant education sectors.



It would be great if you had:



Certification in Project Management (i.e. PRINCE2 Practitioner, or similar)
