Principal Radiation Engineer Radiotherapy
Job Description
The Technical Services team provide equipment management and technical support to both clinical and non-clinical users of all equipment associated with radiotherapy treatment. The key aspects of this role are to: Provide technical leadership and expert support to technical activities performed on clinical radiotherapy equipment and associated auxiliary items Work flexibly and according to documented (ISO9001 2015) processes to ensure effective and safe machine performance with a minimum of clinical downtime Respond promptly to machine faults that disrupt the clinical service Provide Technical Services support for clinical computing equipment and associated systems used within the Oncology Centre Provide Technical Services support to clinical and scientific research & development across radiotherapy, including the design and manufacture of bespoke clinical devices used in treatment
