The Role

Are you motivated by building reliable, scalable systems? As a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Lucanet, you'll shape the reliability of our customer-facing platforms. You'll provide technical leadership to the SRE team and collaborate with Architecture and Development to design, build, and operate resilient services. What you'll do

Provide technical direction for the SRE team: prioritize work, delegate effectively, and enable delivery through clear documentation and knowledge sharing. Define SLOs/SLIs and establish end-to-end observability with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and CloudWatch. Build and maintain customer-facing infrastructure and configurations on AWS (and GCP as needed) for performance and uptime. Automate infrastructure and operations with Terraform and Ansible to reduce toil and improve consistency. Partner with development teams on design reviews and feature rollouts to embed reliability, security, and operability early. Improve incident management practices, including on-call, runbooks, and post-incident reviews. Evolve CI/CD workflows (GitHub, CircleCI, Artifactory) for safe, efficient delivery. Develop and maintain clear documentation for processes, procedures, and architecture. #

What you bring to the table

Experience in SRE/DevOps and cloud infrastructure, including technical leadership. Deep Kubernetes expertise and strong fundamentals in Linux, networking, and containerization. Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, RDS Postgres, Cognito); familiarity with GCP. Proficiency in Python or Go for tooling and automation. Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible. Observability and alerting using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and CloudWatch; SLO-driven mindset. CI/CD tooling and practices (GitHub, CircleCI, Artifactory) and knowledge of deployment safety patterns. Cloud-native security best practices (IAM, secrets management, least privilege, policy as code). Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, and documentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. #
