Job Description

The Principal SDET is an inspiring test automation leader who influences and supports Sage groups to break new ground, overcome challenges, and reach new levels of automation achievement. The Principal SDET is an expert with the automation technologies, architecture and processes and can analyse, plan, coordinate and drive multiple complex automation initiatives, projects and systems to meet test automation deliverables. This individual is expected to significantly extend the depth of technology and processes across functions

Key Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead in the analysis, design, development, and ongoing maintenance of complex automated tests for multiple products aligning with Sage current and future marketplace needs.

• Lead in the analysis, design, development, and ongoing maintenance of performance/benchmark, load, and scalability testing based on product requirements.
• Drive research and discovery for opportunity or improvement within existing automation architecture decisions.
• Lead in the rollout of test automation architectural objectives, strategies, processes, standards and metrics and coach other disciplines so they understand how and when to add most value to a project through test automation.
• Carry out such tasks as directed to meet the needs of the business.
