Job Description

Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced, driven and passionate Statistician to join our FSP Team at Principal level. This position can be fully remote, although can be office or hybrid (depending on the candidate's location).
Responsibilities:

As a Principal Statistician you will work on assigned studies within the team for one of our global pharmaceutical clients. You will hold a combined hands on technical and project leadership role, where you will be a key member of the FSP team and a key point of contact for the client.

You will contribute to, and/or lead, the statistical components of deliverables; ensuring all are produced to excellent quality whilst adhering to deliverable timelines. You will be responsible and accountable for assigned statistical and programming aspects of reporting, as well as engage in internal and external knowledge exchange activities and provide support to colleagues. You will oversee junior colleagues and there may be the opportunity to line manage as you progress within your role.

The successful candidate should have experience doing the following:

Leading clinical studies, including providing statistical leadership on methods and managing relationships with vendors Advising on and performing ad hoc analyses such as those required for publications Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have obtained and have experience in the following:

PhD or MSc in Biostatistics or related discipline Experience within the pharmaceutical industry to have a good awareness of clinical trial issues, design, and implementation Familiarity with GCP and regulatory requirements Good exploratory analysis and data visualization skills Cross-functional experience (e.g. collaborating closely with Medical / Clinical / other functions on exploratory analyses for publication purposes, i.e. abstracts & posters for medical congresses, manuscripts, etc.) Strong SAS and/or R programming experience
