Our client, a leading engineering and advisory consultancy in Aberdeen who has a diverse and varied portfolio across oil and gas, offshore renewables and hydrogen / carbon capture sectors, is seeking a highly experienced Principal Structural Engineer. (Hybrid Working)
The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage engineering projects using technical expertise and experience in engineering design and analysis.
  • Assist execution of projects using technical expertise and experience in engineering design and analysis as required by company's clients and all interested parties and under the direction of line manager whilst complying with company's processes and procedures.
  • Produce engineering proposals, reports and schedules in accordance with company's project commitments, as required by company's clients and all interested parties.
  • Providing supervision, mentoring and continuing professional development support to less experienced engineers.
  • Assist business development effort by engaging with clients and potential clients to generate leads and enquiries under the direction of line management.
  • Meet with clients and all interested parties on a project basis for both engineering and business development activities
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Considerable relevant engineering experience.
  • Ideally a relevant engineering degree.
  • Considerable FEED experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
