Role Summary





Due to continued business growth, we are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and committed Senior/Principal Surveyors to join our Monitoring Division within our HS2 Department based out of Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in surveying, looking to work on a high-profile project within the expeditious Geospatial industry.

Key Accountabilities and Associated Duties





Manage projects on site and lead monitoring installations Deliver instructions on a broad range of surveys and disciplines to survey teams Act as a client-facing representative, attending meetings and liaising directly with clients to understand requirements and ensure instructions are delivered on time and to the highest standard Provide line management responsibility for a small team, supporting performance, development, and day-to-day operations Build your own connections both externally and within the business in order to widen the team's client and knowledge bases Work as part of a team to support junior and senior colleagues Operate effectively in office- and site-based environments, maintaining high standards while working under pressure



Role Requirements





A minimum of 5 years of survey experience (monitoring experience is highly desirable) Experience working on large infrastructure projects is advantageous Relevant Surveying degree/qualification and/or equivalent relevant experience Strong knowledge of the UK construction industry (ideally in surveying and monitoring) Previous line management or supervisory experience is desirable Experience in working to high safety standards Strong technical knowledge Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook, and Excel Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients Full clean UK driving licence The right to work in the UK
