Our Training Solutions team is currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Training Consultant

The Role


Our Training Solutions team are delivery focused and specialise in advice and support on training architectural design and in delivery of the Training Solution, including the analysis of organisational training requirements, Human Factors Integration and evaluating the outcomes of transformational design change.
Day to day, you will provide specialist consultancy services to clients. You will work closely with the Head of Training Analysis and Assurance and Training Services Director to support the identification and maturity of opportunities, understanding client requirements, and offering tailored solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:


Authoring high-quality training proposals and reports Developing (D)SAT-compliant Training Needs Analysis through to Design and Delivery Designing training programmes and media Conducting training evaluation and/or assurance Supporting the conduct of training and educational research Supporting the Training Director to develop future training business Collaborating with client senior management, stakeholders, subject matter experts and colleagues Deputising for the Head of Capability on an as-required basis from time to time

In your first 3-6 months, success might look like:


You have built strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients Produced high-quality proposals, reports, and deliverables that reflect Whitetree's standards Demonstrated confidence in applying DSAT/ADDIE methodologies in project environments

Skills & experience required

A skilled and trusted leader of people, projects, and teams Use of JSP 822 and Training Standards (Defence), or equivalent requirements from other safety-critical sectors Knowledge of the Human component of Capabilities and impact on training Development of Competency Frameworks Development of Training Needs Analyses that consider: The development and application of mental/physical skills and behavioural attributes Competence retention and its psychological components Method and media analysis Through-life cost and training risk analysis Conduct of Training Design that includes: Development of Design stages 1,2 & 3 elements; Formal Training Statements and component parts, Assessment and Learning Specifications Appreciation of multiple media development and design A detailed understanding of the SAT/ADDIE methodology from Analysis to Evaluation Experience in the analysis and design of SAT-compliant Individual Training Offer evidence of practical experience in the conduct of TNA in support of Team and Collective Training A proficient understanding of Defence Integrated Logistic Programme Versed in Learning Management Systems Ideally located within a commutable distance to Bristol Current right to live and work in the UK Current SC clearance or willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check Willingness and ability to work from home and travel for client engagements, including overnight stays away from home around the UK when required
